Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Chandigarh / Delhi – Shimla

Arrive at Chandigarh or Delhi and transfer to Shimla. In the evening, you can explore Shimla Mall Road on your own.
Overnight Stay: Shimla

Day 2: Shimla – Sangla

After breakfast, drive along the Sutlej River, passing through scenic gorges and valleys.
Overnight Stay: Sangla

Day 3: Sangla – Kalpa via Chitkul

After breakfast, travel to Kalpa via Chitkul, India’s last inhabited village near the Indo-China border.
Overnight Stay: Kalpa

Day 4: Kalpa – Tabo

Wake up to breathtaking views of Kinnaur Kailash. After breakfast, visit Suicide Point and proceed towards Tabo.
Overnight Stay: Tabo

Day 5: Tabo – Kaza

After breakfast, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Monastery, among the oldest in Spiti Valley. Later, drive to Kaza.

Day 6: Kaza Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore:

Langza – famous for its giant Buddha statue
Hikkim – world’s highest post office
Komic Village – one of the world’s highest motorable villages

Key Monastery – the largest in Spiti Valley

Day 7: Kaza – Chandratal via Chicham Bridge & Kunzum La

After breakfast, drive to Chandratal via Chicham Bridge (one of Asia’s highest suspension bridges). En route, stop at Kunzum La Pass and Kunzum Devi Temple. In the evening, witness a mesmerizing sunset at Chandratal and enjoy a peaceful night at a nearby campsite. On clear nights, you may spot the Milky Way.

Day 8: Chandratal – Manali via Rohtang Pass

After breakfast, travel to Manali via Rohtang Pass (subject to road conditions and permits).
Overnight Stay: Manali

Day 9: Manali – Chandigarh / Delhi Drop

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Chandigarh or Delhi for your onward journey.
