Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jammu → Transfer to Katra
- Meet & greet at Jammu Railway Station/Airport.
- Drive to Katra (approx. 1 hour). Check into the hotel.
- Evening free. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 2: Katra (Darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi)
- Early morning, proceed for the pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine.
- Trek on foot or take a pony/palki/helicopter (at own cost).
After darshan, return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 3: Katra → Drive to Pahalgam
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Drive directly from Katra to Pahalgam (approx. 6-7 hours).
- Check into the hotel in Pahalgam. Evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing
- After breakfast, explore the beautiful valleys of Pahalgam.
- Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari (via local taxi at own cost).
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam → Srinagar (Enroute Sonmarg)
- After breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Srinagar.
- En route, take the diversion to visit Sonmarg (“Meadow of Gold”).
- After sightseeing, continue the drive to Srinagar.
- Check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 6: Srinagar → Gulmarg Day Trip
- After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg for a day excursion.
- Enjoy the Gondola cable car ride (Phase 1 or Phase 2 at own cost).
Drive back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 7: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
- After a relaxed breakfast, explore Srinagar.
- Visit the Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake (at own cost).
You can explore the local markets for souvenirs. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 8: Srinagar → Jammu Departure
- After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Drive to Jammu (approx. 7-8 hours) for your onward flight/train journey.
- Tour concludes with happy memories.
